Performance features
The disk granulator produced 
by our company adopts the overall arc structure of the disk angle and 
granulation rate can be up to 93%. Granulating disc has three discharge ports, 
which makes it easy to conduct the intermittent production operations, greatly 
reducing the labor intensity and improving the labor efficiency. The flexible 
transmission of the reducer and motor helps the smooth start, the mitigation of 
the impact and the increase of the equipment service life. At the bottom of the 
granulation disk, it is strengthened by multiple radiation steel plates to make 
it durable without deformation. There is no need of anchor bolts to fix it due 
to the thicker, heavier, sturdy base design. The main gear adopts the 
high-frequency quenching, prolonging its service life. In the granulation disk, 
it is lined with the fiber reinforced plastics, which is anti-corrosion and 
durable. The surface is featured with the advantages of uniform granulation, 
high granulation rate, smooth operation and long service life and other 
advantages.
Working principle
The raw material powder is wetted evenly by 
the atomized water evenly in the biaxial mixer, forming the ball nuclear with 
uniform particle size, which will be sent into the disk for the next procedure. 
The moisture of the materials should be controlled at 12 ~ 14%. The water is 
mostly added in the biaxial mixer and only a small amount of water should be 
added in the disk. As for the dry powder granulation, an appropriate amount of 
water should be sprayed into the granulation disk. The raw material ball nuclear 
will do the parabolic motion under the role of centrifugal force, friction and 
gravity after entering the granulation disk. Due to the adhesion and plasticity 
of the material, the ball nuclear bonds with each other and gradually becomes 
large in the course of motion. In the continuous rolling process, the water in 
the raw material ball nuclear will be constantly discharged out of the surface. 
Due to the adhesion of the material and the natural evaporation of the liquid 
film on the surface, the pellet has certain strength so that they will be 
discharged out from the disk grain making 
machine with the rotation of the inclined disk.
